<p>Prefab building element can serve as a load bearing or non-loadbearing unit, and can be profiled for incorporation in any ceiling, wall or partition. It is made from a homogenous compound of cement reinforced with a hard material, and polystyrol or similar sound and/or insulating material. There is a flat panel part, with channels on the reverse side for a back-filling with protrusions as a steel reinforcement. These comprise two or more rib units (4), with lengthways channels (11) in them, and in one piece with the panel (5). The steel reinforcement (7,8), if required, is inserted into a channel (6) between two ribs and anchored by means of continuations (9). The rib units nearest the edges (2) are closer together between their outer sides (3) relative to the panel width.</p> |
