PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a release film for manufacturing a ceramic sheet, suppressing the positional shift of the internal electrode in a laminated ceramic condenser to the utmost when the laminated ceramic condenser or the like is manufactured and excellent in the releasability of the ceramic sheet and the surface smoothness of a release layer. SOLUTION: The release film for manufacturing the ceramic sheet has the release layer subjected to drying treatment under heating and tension. The dimensional change ratio of the release film, at a time when the film is heat- treated at 100°C for 5 min in a state such that a tension of 4.7 MPa is longitudinally applied to the film, satisfies the formulae:|ΔLTD-ΔLMD|≤0.8 and -0.6≤ΔLMD≤0.6 [wherein,ΔLMD is the dimensional change ratio (%) in the longitudinal direction of the film andΔLTD is the dimensional change ratio (%) in the lateral direction of the film] at the same time.
