PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, with excellent productivity, a heat-sealable packaging material which is used for packaging a chewing gum or the like tightly in the shape of a stick, which is excellent particularly in moistureproofness and enables stabilization of heat seal and which is also safe for the environment in regard to incineration after the use and others. SOLUTION: The heat-sealable packaging material is constituted by a method wherein a layer to be the main body thereof is formed of a laminate prepared by laminating a polyester film layer 2, a paper layer 5 and an aluminum leaf layer 6 sequentially from outside, at least, by an extrusion laminating method and thermally adhesive resin layers are provided on both sides of the laminate. A copolymer of ethylene and (meth)acrylic acid and/or (meth)acrylate is used for a resin of adhesive layers 3a and 3b of the extruded laminate. For the thermally adhesive resin layers, an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin is used preferably. The polyester film layer 2 and the paper layer 5 may be laminated by a dry laminating method with a one-part or two-part reaction type adhesive used. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
