<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide body used suitably in a lighting fixture for vehicle at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The outer periphery part of a light guide body 7 of a rod shape which is made of a transparent alkali resin and of which outer diameter is constant throughout the total length is made into rough surface, and a concavo-convex part 37 is formed in the outer periphery surface part. Light La entered from one side end face part 7a in an axial direction of the light guide body 7 is irregularly reflected by the concavo-convex part 37 in the outer periphery part and is emitted to a second region R2. Manufacture of the light guide body is easy and of low cost since only the outer periphery part of the alkali resin of simple rod-shape is made into rough surface.
