<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a fixing force of a housing to a shield shell without causing enlargement in size. <P>SOLUTION: The shield connector is provided with a housing 20 containing a plurality of female terminals 15 connected to wires 10, a cylindrical die-cast shield shell 40 into which the housing 20 is inserted, elastic locking pieces 34 suitable for the housing 20 in free elastic bending locked to an open edge 48 of the shield shell 40 to prevent come-off when the housing 20 is properly inserted into the shield shell 40, and a retainer 50 mounted to the housing 20 from the rear contained in the shield shell 40 for regulating the elastic locking pieces 34 from bending deformation in a lock-release direction. A opening end 70A of a braided wire 70 is made to cover a mounting groove 46 suistable for the shield shell 40, and firmly fixed in caulking with a fastening band 60 which can perform a tapering-off operation by a tool. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
