<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which enables operation related to an unset function to be performed readily. <P>SOLUTION: A simple operation screen state analysis part 254 determines which function is set in a simple operation screen, on the basis of setting state information included in function information stored into a simple operation screen DB234 and outputs information on a determination result to a normal operation screen placement part 256. The normal operation screen placement part 256 performs processing for changing the placement position of an image for operation displayed in an application setting area of the normal operation screen, on the basis of the information from the simple operation screen state analysis part 254 and priority information stored into a normal operation screen DB262 and outputs information on a changed placement to a normal operation screen display control unit 260.
