<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet inspection device for toilet paper or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet inspection device for the toilet paper or the like is provided with LED light emitters 3 and photo-transistors 4 standing opposite thereto with a moving sheet 1 for toilet paper interposed therebetween. Light passing therethrough is received by the photo-transistors 4 to detect a breakage and failure corresponding to the magnitude of voltage by measuring a change in the voltage reacting to the quantity of light. Step-by-step differentiation is performed between two sheets, one sheet, and zero sheet of paper while the mode of break corresponding to the magnitude of a set voltage is detected, with failure detection performed within the range of the set voltage, to order roll winding to be stopped. This device has a circuit configuration wherein an output voltage of a photo-transistor is stored at certain time intervals, the difference between a stored value and a detected output voltage is taken as a candidate for a breakage if equal to or more than a specified value, and further, it is determined that there is a breakage to be coped with if the duration of a state, in which a difference equal to or more than the specified value exist, is equal to or more than the specified value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
