PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for evaluating the life of reinforced concrete, simply calculating a corrosion quantity at the time of production of a crack and easily calculating the corrosion quantity at the time of production of the crack even with respect to the reinforced concrete different in shape or structure. SOLUTION: The FEM analysis of the reinforced concrete is executed and the virtual temperature simulating the corrosion of a reinforcing rod is applied to the reinforcing rod of the reinforced concrete to execute the FEM analysis of the reinforced concrete when the reinforcing rod is virtually expanded not only to calculate the virtual temperature when the crack occurs in the concrete surface of the reinforced concrete but also to operate the corrosion quantity at the time of occurrence of the crack on the basis of the calculated virtual temperature. The crack occurrence period of the reinforced concrete is estimated on the basis of the obtained corrosion quantity at the time of occurrence of the crack, the corrosion start period of the reinforcing rod, and the corrosion speed after the production of corrosion.
