摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a rare earth carbonate particle being suitable for producing a monodisperse and perfectly spherical particle. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the rare earth carbonate particle where a raw material solution is heated by irradiating the raw material solution added with urea into the mineral acid solution of a rare earth element with microwaves, it is characterized by that (1) heating temperature is 70-80°C in the case that the rare earth element is La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Pm, Sm or Eu (group A), (2) the heating temperature is 70-90°C in the case that the rare earth element is Gd or Tb (group B), (3) the heating temperature is 70-100°C in the case that the rare earth element is Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu or Y (group C) and (4) the heating temperature is 70-80°C in the case that the rare earth elements are two or more selected from among 16 elements which are lanthanoid elements plus yttrium.
