METHOD FOR PRODUCING POULTRY EGG FREE FROM TRANS FATTY ACID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method for producing a poultry egg free from trans fatty acid which reduces the amount of the trans fatty acid in food.

SOLUTION: The method for producing a poultry egg free from trans fatty acid includes giving feed which is substantially free from oil-and-fat raw material containing trans fatty acid to poultry, based on a new knowledge that even a hen's egg contains the trans fatty acid. The feed used in the method is the one blended with oil-and-fat raw material containing no trans fatty acid, or the one not blended with oil and fat raw material itself.
