<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve miniaturization of a lens barrel, while securing a wide range of movement of a second supporting frame. <P>SOLUTION: The lens barrel 100 includes a fixed lens barrel 110, a third lens group 140c, a third lens frame 130c and a guide shaft 186. The fixed lens barrel 110 includes a plate portion 241 and a first base portion 506b projected from the plate portion 241, in the direction of an optical axis. The third lens frame 130c has a first bearing portion 501a which is substantially cylindrical. The guide shaft 186 is inserted into the first bearing portion 501a and fixed to the first base portion 506b.
