The invention relates to a method for operating a measuring device (110) for detecting at least one analyte in a body fluid, in particular by means of at least one continuously measuring blood glucose sensor (112). To this end, at least one calibration method for the prospective calibration of the measuring device (110) is carried out. In the calibration method, at least three calibration points are captured, wherein each calibration point comprises at least one measurement signal of the measuring device (110) and at least one reference value of a related reference measurement. A plurality of possible increases between the calibration points are determined. At least one probable increase is determined from the plurality of possible increases by means of at least one robust estimation method, in particular using the formation of at least one median. Furthermore, at least one measurement is carried out. During the measurement, a concentration of the analyte in the body fluid is concluded from at least one measurement signal of the measuring device (110) and the probable increase by using the probable increase. |
