<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a projection display device with a lens shift mechanism, capable of displaying images of high resolution feeling with little color shift at all shift positions, by correcting the color shift between colors resulting from lens shift. <P>SOLUTION: The projection display device includes: image display means 1, 2 which display the images corresponding to different colors respectively; a projection lens 4 which projects the images displayed on the image display means on a screen; and the lens shift mechanism 5 which shifts the projection lens in a direction vertical to the optical axis of the projection lens. The projection display device includes: a lens shift quantity detection means 6 which detects shift quantity of the projection lens; and a color shift correction means 8 which reduces positional shift of the images corresponding to the colors different from each other on the screen according to the shift quantity of the projection lens. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
