PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state image pickup device of smaller size, in which the number of members is decreased and a countermeasure for foreign substance is achieved. SOLUTION: In a solid-state image pickup device 100, an electrode 26 is provided on a translucent lid part 24 which faces a light receiving part 22a of a solid-state image pickup element 22, with an interval from the solid-state image pickup element 22.
