PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collector capable of drastically mitigating the operation of removing fine dust remaining on a filter with an attached maintenance brush. SOLUTION: The dust collector includes a dust collecting case 8 communicating with the suction port (not shown in the figure) of a cleaner body (not shown in the figure) for catching dust, an upstream filter (not shown in the figure) for catching coarse dust, and a downstream filter 10 with a dust removing lever 13 for catching fine dust and removing the fine dust, and is formed into the outline including an uneven thickness cross-section in which an upper end and a lower end are made thin and a center part is made thick for the entire ribs on the downstream side of the downstream filter 10. The amplitude of the downstream filter 10 by the slide of the dust removing lever 13 is increased, a dust removing performance by the dust removing lever 13 is improved, the dust stuck to the downstream filter after dust removal is reduced, and the operation of removing the fine dust remaining on the downstream filter 10 with the attached maintenance brush (not shown in the figure) is mitigated.
