PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal transmission system capable of transmitting and reproducing stable video signals. SOLUTION: The signal transmission system includes: a transmitter 1 provided with a differential driver 34 for converting horizontal synchronizing signals to differential signals, converting first console signals to common mode signals and transmitting the differential signals and the common mode signals through a pair of signal lines to a receiver, and a console signal reception circuit 35 for receiving second console signals converted to the common mode signals from the receiver; and the receiver 2 provided with a differential receiver 54 for receiving the differential signals and the common mode signals from the transmitter 1 through the pair of signal lines and restoring the differential signals to the horizontal synchronizing signals, a console signal reception circuit 56 for restoring the received common mode signals to the first console signals, and a differential driver 34 for converting the second console signals to the common mode signals and transmitting them through the pair of signal lines to the transmitter 1.
