FLAME RETARDANT POLYURETHANE RESIN COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR MAKING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame retardant polyurethane resin composition which obviates the problems of safety, environment and price and has excellent flame retardance and mechanical properties such as tensile strength and elongation. SOLUTION: The flame retardant polyurethane resin composition comprises (A) a polycarbonate base polyurethane as a main raw material, (B) a P and N-containing non-halogen flame retardant as a flame retardant, (C) a polyhydric alcohol or a derivative thereof as an auxiliary flame retardant, and (D) a silicone containing two or more reactive functional groups in one molecule.
