The invention relates to a two-wheeled cycle having an arm crank drive and a leg crank drive. In known cycles of this type, undesired steering forces are caused by the arm drive, and the steering system of said cycles is susceptible to external steering forces, which occur for example when driving through a pothole. The aim of the invention is that the cyclist can transmit the driving force of the cyclist optimally to the cycle and the steering of the cycle is protected as much as possible against the influence of driving forces and external steering forces. The invention achieves the described aim in that the cycle has steering by means of a stub axle, wherein the cycle is steered by tilting, and as such the cycle has at least one steering support element, which dampens, limits, or fixes the steering motion or exerts a restoring force in the straight-ahead position of the steering wheel. An optimized geometry of the steering axis and of the fork offset is added. |
