<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flattened heat pipe having superior capillary force without blocking a steam flow passage. <P>SOLUTION: The flattened heat pipe includes a flat and tubular closed container, at least one wick structure having a bent part and a flat part in a cross section in the container, and a working liquid sealed in the container.
