PURPOSE: A welding strain correction system and method are provided to store data about welding strain and minimize errors in similar works based on the data. CONSTITUTION: A welding strain correction system comprises a strain measuring unit(300), a communication module(400), a display unit(500), a strain correcting unit(600), and a control unit(700). The strain measuring unit comprising a 3D strain measuring device(100) and a 2D strain measuring device(200) measures the amount of strain of a base material in which welding takes place. The communication module transmits data detected by the strain measuring unit. The display unit displays the data transmitted from the communication module. The strain correcting unit corrects the strain of the base material by applying a mechanical force to the base material based on the strain data. The control unit controls the strain correcting unit.
