A guide pipe (1) has a piping arrangement (7), such as T-fitting, located in a high pressure region (13), and a compensator arrangement (5) located in a low pressure region (15) enclosed by a partition (11). The piping connection (31,33) between the piping arrangement and the compensator arrangement is located facing the high pressure region. The pipes (37) of the piping arrangement and the piping connections lie in a common axis (41). Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a turbine; and (2) a method of guiding fluid medium.
