#CMT# #/CMT# The device (1) has an elongate beak-like cable bearing (107) running from ends, which are formed by limit blocks (105, 105') in hollow spaces (3, 3'), towards free outer ends. The cable bearing is connected with a middle portion (100) and two outer portions (101, 102) in a form-fit manner. A part of the outer portions and a part of the middle portion combined with a surface of the cable bearing define a molding groove for bearing a cable. The molding groove is extended in a longitudinal direction of the cable bearing. The device is made of light metal or hard plastic. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Device for securing cables for lead climbing safety and second climbing safety (all claimed) during climbing e.g. sports climbing and industrial climbing. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The molding groove is extended in the longitudinal direction of the cable bearing, thus enabling automatic braking of cables during lead climbing and second climbing, and ensuring simple and rapid exchange between the lead climbing safety and second climbing safety. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a side perspective view of a device for securing cables. 1 : Cables securing device 3, 3' : Hollow spaces 100 : Middle portion 101, 102 : Outer portions 105, 105' : Limit blocks 107 : Cable bearing. |
