The invention relates to an operating mechanism for a saloon door of a double deck or single deck passenger carriage, meant to be employed in the railway transports for passengers. According to the invention, the mechanism comprises a cross-bar (1) having a U-shaped profile, provided at the bottom with a welded plate (3) under which a cylindrical bar (6) is mounted, in parallel with a pneumatic cylinder (4) and in the same horizontal plane, by means of some supports (7), on said cylindrical bar (6) there sliding some support bearing boxes and support and drive bearing boxes (9 and 10), respectively, having some linear ball bearings (11), the coaxial arrangement thereof on the cylindrical bar (6) being ensured by some flanges (13) provided with an eyelet (b) mounted with certain clearance between some eyelets (c) of the support bearing boxes (9 and 10), with a bolt (14), and the bearing blocks (d) thereof being mounted and locked in a channel (e), at the top of a saloon door (A), for driving purposes, the support and drive bearing box (10) having a welded tang (16) provided with a recess (f) wherein there is mounted a screw end (g) of the rod of a piston (17) placed within the pneumatic cylinder (4). |
