PURPOSE: An arm rest for a vehicle is provided to enable a user to conveniently take out objects from a tray and to prevent damage to a hinge unit by reducing a moment value. CONSTITUTION: An arm rest for a vehicle comprises a box-shaped housing(110), a cover(120), a tray(130), and a sliding hinge(140). The box-shaped housing accepts objects. The cover is isntalled on the top of the housing and can be rearward slid. The tray is installed in the inner rear part of the housing. The tray is connected to the cover and is ascended when the cover is opened. The sliding hinge is hinged on the housing and supports the movement and rotation of the cover. |
