PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power circuit capable of reducing overshoot occurring in output following a sudden change in a reference voltage, and to provide electronic equipment including the power circuit. SOLUTION: The power circuit generates an output voltage supplied to a load from an input voltage, and adjusts an output voltage based on the reference voltage. The power circuit includes an error amplifier for generating an error voltage, a comparator for comparing the error voltage with a detection voltage corresponding to a current flowing in an output inductor, a switching control part for controlling on and off of an output transistor based on an output signal of the comparator, a clamping circuit for setting the upper limit of the error voltage based on a clamping voltage, and a clamping voltage generation circuit for generating the clamping voltage. The clamping voltage generation circuit changes the clamping voltage according to the input voltage, thus reducing the overshoot. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
