PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily prevent a packaging box or the like from over-turning without reducing space efficiency during storage and transportation. SOLUTION: In a pad 1 for preventing over-turning provided in the packaging box 21, coupling pieces 3 are connected to both sides of a base end of a rising piece 2 and stopper pieces 4 are connected to the outside of the respective coupling pieces 3 sequentially. Opposite ends of both coupling pieces 3 are inserted into a slit 27 provided on the bottom of the packaging box 21 so that they can be put in/out by slantly cutting outwardly from the center of the base end of the rising piece 2, making a base crease 5 at the border between the rising piece 2 and the coupling piece 3, and making an intermediate crease 6 from the center of the base end to the center of the tip of the rising piece 2. When pulled out from the slit 27, the rising piece 2 stands from the coupling piece 3 along the base crease 5 while bending in a V-shape along the intermediate crease 6 outside the packaging box 21.
