The invention relates to a manufacturing process for acrylic fibres with noncircular cross-section. The acrylic fibres are prepared by extruding the solution containing acrylic polymer and sodium thiocyanate through a circular orifices and coagulating the extruded fibres in a coagulation bath containing a coagulating agent.
