<p>The coupling has a hollow shaft (1), a coupling part (7) mounted rotatably and axially non-displaceably on it, and a coupling sleeve (21) which is connected fixedly in terms of rotation to the shaft (1) and which is axially displaceable between an engaged position (a) and two disengaged positions (c, d) and is provided on one end face with coupling wedges (31) distributed uniformly in the circumferential direction. The latter are guided in longitudinal grooves (40) of the shaft (1) and, in the engaged position (a), engage into corresponding longitudinal grooves (41) of the coupling part (7). The coupling sleeve (21) contains two detent pawls (54, 55) which are offset relative to one another axially and in the circumferential direction and each of which catches in a recess (62, 63) of the shaft (1) in one of the disengaged positions (c and d) respectively and is released by a single switching nose (5) as a result of the mutual rotation of the shaft (1) and of the coupling part (7). The shaft (1) and coupling part (7) can be coupled only in the rotary-angle position, in which a detent pawl (54) removed further away by the wedges (31) is released. In contrast to equivalent known couplings, the symmetrical construction allowing a direct, radial force flux distributed uniformly over a plurality of wedge surfaces, guarantees permanently true running. <IMAGE></p> |
