PURPOSE: A decorative member which is attached to an outer surface of a home appliances and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to express a various colors according to a viewing angle through a pattern imprinting and a metal depositing, embody a metallic texture without using a stainless steel plate, and reduce a high cost generated by using a photo lithography process and using stainless steel panel. CONSTITUTION: An exterior decorative member of an electronic product which can embody a metallic texture without using a stainless steel plate includes a base layer(10), a pattern layer(20), a metal evaporating layer(30), and a protective layer(40). The base layer is a synthetic resin. The pattern layer includes a finite pattern and is arranged on one side of the base layer. The metallic evaporating layer can make a person feel a metallic texture by evaporating an one side of a pattern layer. The protective layer is a synthetic resin which is attached for protecting a metallic evaporating layer.
