<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which, when unprocessed jobs queued in an accumulation section in a power-saving mode are output all together, efficiently uses heat (fixing heater heat) required for printout, thereby increasing power saving. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor performs the first monochrome printing during pre-heating for color printing by assigning the monochrome printing to each of a temperature rising process until the temperature is raised to the fixing temperature applicable to the color printing and a temperature lowering process after the color printing, and also performs other monochrome printing with residual heat after the color printing. The total amount of power to be supplied to the fixing heater can be reduced compared to a conventional example in which printing is performed in the order of receiving the printing job (for example, the color printing is performed last). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
