摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source of compact and low-energy consumption in an infrared wavelength region. <P>SOLUTION: An infrared light source device includes a first optical gain source 12, which is disposed on a first optical waveguide, excited by a first incident pump light and emits a first outgoing light; a first pump light source 19, which is disposed on the first optical waveguide and on which the first pump light for exciting the first optical gain source is made incident; a second pump light source 20, which is disposed on a second optical waveguide and on which a second pump light is made incident; an optical resonator structure in which a pair of mirror plane structures 11 and 18 surrounding at least the first optical gain source are disposed, in a manner of forming a cavity; a wavelength conversion structure 14, when two fundamental waves are made incident, that performs conversion of these waves to a converted wave whose wavelength is different; and a mirror structure 15, that has a property to transmit the converted wave which has been wavelength-converted by the wavelength conversion structure from the first outgoing light and the second pump light, and reflects the first outgoing light and the second pump light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
