PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem not to select a scene considering desirability of the scene even if detecting a similar scene based on change of a feature quantity. SOLUTION: An image processor includes: a feature quantity detection part 22 which detects feature quantities from respective frame images of continuous photographing image data groups or moving image data; an event detection part 23 which detects an event based on change of feature quantities accompanying time change; a transition evaluation part 24 which calculates a transition evaluation value based on a predetermined evaluation index for event detection frame images which is frame images corresponding to the detected event, and frame image groups of a predetermined time following it; and a selection part 25 which selects a scene by the frame image groups including the event detection frame images based on the calculated transition evaluation value.
