PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food packaging film which is superior in heat resistance, stable heat sealability, food hygiene, impact resistance under a low-temperature condition, and drop rupture resistance under a low-temperature condition. SOLUTION: The food packaging film is a film that is composed mainly of a propylene-ethylene block copolymer. The food packaging film contains at least a phenolic antioxidant, phosphorous-acid-based antioxidant, and acrylate-based antioxidant and includes a 20°C xylene solubilized portion of 20 to 30 mass%. The film is cut in the direction parallel with its longitudinal direction and perpendicular to the film surface, and the resultant cut section is stained with a ruthenium oxide, then carbon is vapor deposited on the stained section. When the carbon-deposited stained section is observed with a transmission electron microscope, it is found that island components present in an actual area of 600μm<SP>2</SP>, in which the island components' longitudinal maximum length is 20μm or longer and the ratio of the longitudinal maximum length and the vertical maximum length is 0.2 or above, accounts for 20% or above of the section.
