The transmission has four planetary gear sets (P1-P4) arranged in a housing (G), and a first shaft (3) connected to a second shaft (5) via a clutch (35). A drive shaft (1) is connected with a sun gear of the second planetary gear set and a third shaft (7) by another clutch (17). A fourth shaft (6) is connected with a ring gear of the first planetary gear set and a web of the second planetary gear set. An output shaft (2) is connected with a ring gear of the third planetary gear set and a web of the fourth planetary gear set.
