PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a retreated tire and an apparatus therefor by which the uniformity of a retreated tire is improved by preventing the displacement of an annular tread member, thereby improving the sticking accuracy in the case of sticking the vulcanized annular tread member to a base tire. SOLUTION: The apparatus of manufacturing the retreated tire includes a support part 6 for supporting the base tire 2 from the inner circumferential side, a plurality of tread member holding parts 3 for holding the vulcanized annular tread member 1 from the inner circumferential side, an expansion and contraction part 7 for expanding and contacting the tread member holding part 3 in the width direction, a moving part 8 for moving the tread member holding part 3 to the width direction, a plurality of pressing parts 5 for pressing the annular tread member 1 to the base tire 2 at respective positions between the tread member holding parts, and a plurality of tread member restriction parts 9 positioned on the respective tread holding parts 3 to restrict the movement of the annular tread member 1 to the width direction of the base tire 2.
