<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly hygiene-compliance monitoring system for evaluating whether a predetermined hygiene procedure is complied or not. <P>SOLUTION: The hygiene-compliance monitoring system 100 provides a dispenser 120 associated with a data collection unit 140 for collecting supply events, such as motions of supplying a material from the dispenser 120, which occurs during time segments of a predetermined duration. The hygiene-event monitoring system also includes a portable data-acquisition unit 160 which is in wireless communication with the data-collection unit 140 of the dispenser 120. As such, when the data-acquisition unit 160 is brought within a range of reception of the data-collection unit 140, the hygiene compliance data 100 and time segment information are transmitted to the data-acquisition unit 160 and stored at a portable memory unit 170, which is removable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
