PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the rotation of a driving member which is screwed to a lead screw, and also, avoid the disengagement of the driving member from a rotation preventing part due to an impact. SOLUTION: The optical device 100 includes: the lead screw 16c; the driving member 16b which is screwed to the lead screw and moved in an optical axis direction with the rotation of the lead screw; and a biasing means 18 for biasing a lens holding member 4 toward the driving member from one side in the optical axis direction. The lens holding member includes: a contact part 4d capable of contacting/separating to/from the driving member from/to the one side; the rotation preventing part 4a which allows the contact part to contact/separate to/from the driving member, and also, which engages with the driving member so as to prevent the rotation of the driving member in association with the rotation of the lead screw; and a disengagement preventing part 4b for preventing the disengagement of the driving member from the rotation preventing part when the contact part separates from the driving member.
