Provided is a pipe joint wherein a pipe can be inserted, removed, and prevented from being detached by simply operating the pipe joint itself without using a separate tool or the like. A cylindrical body (2) is formed so that a pipe (P) can be inserted into a receiving port (1c) when the cylindrical body is in a first position (I) or a second position (II). In the first position (I), a retaining ring (3) moves to a tapered portion (1b) together with the pipe (P) to prevent the pipe from being removed. In the second position (II), the pipe (P) can be removed without moving the retaining ring (3) to the tapered portion (1b).
