PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for electric appliances capable of materializing a design advantageous to the controller by simple, advantageous and effective energy transfer. SOLUTION: The controller for electrical appliances has a rotary knob with an electric display means as an operating unit. The rotating knob is mounted on a rotating shaft connected to a switching unit for a rotary operation, and in this case the rotary shaft includes a material easily inductive for magnetic field lines. An inductive energy supplier is installed for the display means, and in this case a secondary winding is set inside the rotary knob so as for the rotary shaft and the magnetic field lines of a primary winding to cross the winding surface of the secondary winding. The primary winding is disposed on the back of the cover of the electric appliances, and the rotary shaft crosses the winding surface of the primary winding. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
