<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning management method for reducing power consumption by an air conditioner when eliminating a hot spot generated in a data center DC, and efficiently dealing with the elimination of the hot spot. <P>SOLUTION: In a network system, a large number of nodes are installed in the data center, and the respective nodes are connected to one another through a network, and the respective nodes are cooled by a plurality of air conditioners installed in the data center. In the network system, an air conditioner cooling each of the nodes is stored, a temperature of an air supply surface and that of an air discharge surface in each of the nodes are detected, and a ratio of exhaust air from the other node or its own node included in the supply air of each of the nodes is calculated. When the generation of a hot spot is detected by the temperature detection of the air supply surface, with consideration given to the flow of air in the data center, an output of an air conditioner exerting a great influence upon the temperature lowering of the air supply surface of a node in the hot spot is increased to eliminate the hot spot. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
