PURPOSE:To eliminate bias margin loss and to improve transfer characteristics of magnetic bubbles by setting the radius of curvature of a stretcher pattern smaller than a specific multiple of its period. CONSTITUTION:The radius R of curvature of a chevron pattern intermediate part is decreased gradually in the order of 0.43lambda, 0.40lambda, and 0.35lambda, where lambda is the period of the chevron pattern, so as to compensate the attraction of a magnetic bubble and deficiency of repulsive balls in the center. Consequently, the transfer characteristics of a magnetic bubble detector which uses a chevron pattern with a period than a three-fold length period and the bias margin loss is eliminated. |
