PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the sorting device of articles, capable of accurately conveying articles to a second conveying body. SOLUTION: A fruit sorter (sorting device of article) 1 includes: a first conveyor (first conveying body) 10 for conveying and sorting tomatoes (articles) C; a position detecting means 11 for optically detecting the position of the conveyed tomatoes C; a grade measuring means 12 for measuring grade of the tomatoes C; a plurality of delivery belts 13 that delivers tomatoes C at a desired position from the first conveyor 10, on the basis of the position of tomatoes C detected by the position detecting means 11 and the grade of tomatoes C measured by the grade measuring means 12; and a second conveyor (second conveying body) 14 for receiving the delivered tomatoes C and further conveying them. A plurality of conveying lanes on which tomatoes C are delivered in accordance with the grade are installed on the second conveyor 14 and are formed in such a manner that the second conveyor 14 is formed while being divided into two or more sections with partition boards (parting members) 16 in the longitudinal direction, wherein the widths (W1-W4) of the plurality of conveying lanes are made different from one another according to the grade of the delivered articles.
