The system comprises a hydrogen reservoir (7), which is provided for cooling the fuel cell system (1) when unloading the hydrogen reservoir. The system also has a connection device for the connection to an external cooling system (26,27). The external cooling system is provided for exhausting of heat, which develops with loading the hydrogen reservoir with hydrogen. The external cooling system is used only when loading and remains underfoot during the flight of the aircraft. An independent claim is also included for a method for cooling a fuel cell system on board an aircraft. The method involves loading a hydrogen reservoir with hydrogen from a hydrogen reservoir tank. |
