<p>The sole (12) has a center sole comprising a center sole body that extends from a heel area (18) over a center foot region (20) to a ball-toe region (22). The center sole body comprises an air inlet opening (24) and an air outlet opening (26), which are connected with each other by a ventilation channel designed in the center sole body. A treading sole (16) is arranged on a lower side of the center sole body. The air inlet opening and/or the air outlet opening are provided with a covering arrangement that partially covers the openings, which appear visually with partially closed.
