<p>An indoor unit (2) of an air conditioner comprises an indoor unit body (20), a flat panel (24), a determination section (35), and a panel control section (31). The flat panel (24) can take a housed state and an unhoused state. The housed state is a state where the flat panel (24) is housed in the indoor unit body (20). The unhoused state is a state where the flat panel (24) is not housed in the indoor unit body (20). The determination section (35) determines whether the flat panel (24) is in the housed state or in the unhoused state. When power is turned on, the panel control section (31) determines the content of operation of the flat panel (24) based on the determination results from the determination section (35). On the other hand, the panel control section (31) controls operation of the flat panel (24) according to the content of operation thus determined.</p> |
