The present invention refers to an electronic parking meter for parking lots, which includes an electronic device best known as Multi-Timer which is to be used in different applications derived from the prepayment of time. The invention refers to a time purchase system in its different versions, ATM, a point of sale system in authorised places, authorised Internet sites, as well as centralised computer systems, through which incomes and costs incurred in the operation of the electronic parking meters for parking lots are controlled, thereby facilitating the management and control of the incomes and costs incurred in the operation of the parking meter system.
