PURPOSE: A water collecting device of a wastewater treating plant is provided to mitigate the inconvenience of a worker and to enhance portability since the volume of the water collecting device can be decreased. CONSTITUTION: A water collecting device(30) of a wastewater treating plant comprises a pump(32), a flexible hose(31) and a weight(33). A buoyant member(34) is installed on the water collecting device. A number marked part is formed on the outer surface of the flexible hose. The flexible hose is formed in a bellows form. The pump is a small motor pump, which is widely used for pulling the water. The buoyant member prevents the flexible hose from sinking into the water. The weight enables the hose to fall to the floor and holds the hose. The buoyant member is located on the upper end of the weight and enables the hose to be vertically maintained. The buoyant member includes foam styrene resin and an air ball, such as a beach ball.
