The machine (1) has a mixing or crushing container (10) equipped with a higher/side loading mouth (2) for introduction of products to be mixed or crushed. A water supply (3) realizes mortar or concrete in the container. A dust protection device (4) acts in the mouth and forms a continuous air screen that is formed of aerosol and fog of fine water droplets in the mouth. A water supply conduit (41) and water spraying tubes (40) are provided in the protection device that transverses along a product introduction direction to catch dust and to drive the dust towards a bottom part of the container.
