<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present a monitoring apparatus improving respondence to crimes from various viewpoints. <P>SOLUTION: An effect for recording signals of an intercom camera at a common entrance of condominiums is notified of a visitor in response to a resident call. Notification expressions are made different between an acquaintance and a person of the first meeting. The effect is not notified in the authentication of a resident at the common entrance. If a visitor does not answer when a resident is absent and automatic recording is requested, the visitor is notified that an image of the visitor has been already recorded. During the entry of a plurality of persons in which a suspicious person may be included, image recording is notified of visitors. During the signal recording of the intercom camera at the common entrance of the condominiums, a visitor's call or a resident's call is also recorded. In call response, whether the visitor is an acquaintance or not is recorded.
