PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind speed measurement device capable of stably performing accurate measurement for a long time. SOLUTION: The wind speed measurement device 160 for measuring the wind speed of a sintering material layer of a sintering machine 100 includes: a wind speed measurement part for measuring the wind speed in the vertical direction above the sintering material layer; and a height adjusting part for maintaining a distance in the vertical direction between the wind speed measurement part and the surface of the sintering material layer at a first height. When the magnitude of the fluctuation of the height of the sintering material layer surface becomes not smaller than a threshold height which makes the measurement value by the wind speed measurement part start to be affected by disturbance, the height adjusting part maintains a position in the vertical direction of the wind speed measurement part at the first height following the height of the sintering material layer surface. Thus, by a simple configuration, the wind speed can be stably measured almost without being affected by disturbance such as a crosswind. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
